(something awful happened and I got some kind of read error/timeout when I made this massive post the first time ;_;) Andypro, this may sound strange to you because you seem convinced I'm primarily an electronica musician, but here goes. I don't want to do the drums for the MMPR cover in Reason. I don't believe that a drum track that doesn't capture the instrumentation of a rock drum set (which is what my dad has) originally played at 190.00000000000000000000000000000000000000 BPM won't feel right when combined with your spirited and humanly made guitar run. So, please suggest a way to record the drums live. I know I'd feel better about it trying to match my skills on drumset with your skills on guitar, rather than my skills in manipulating Reason. I do that enough as it is. Also, the only thing about the vocals that bother me is that the level the original singer sings on is about the very highest I could sing. I'm working on hitting the notes now, but if I'm pressed for time, I can just sing it an octave lower. But it wouldn't sound as great. :>
